Metro Baptist Church seeks to be a free and faithful voice of the Gospel, witnessing with integrity to Jesus Christ and the mission of the Church. We value worship, religious education, missions and evangelism, theological depth and diversity, intellectual openness, religious freedom, social consciousness, responsible stewardship, and warm fellowship. This church believes in and dedicates itself to preserving and practicing historic Baptist principles, freedoms and traditions.

This church seeks to be an inclusive Christian community and receives into membership any person who publicly professes faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and has followed the Redeemer's command to be baptized as a testimony of that faith. If you have never given Jesus Christ control of your life, we invite you to receive Him as your Savior and Lord this day. If you are a Christian but are not active in a local church, we invite you to become a vital part of the Metro Baptist Church family by transfer of your church letter or by statement of faith. While we sing the Hymn of Commitment at the close of the service, you are given an opportunity to meet with our pastor in the front and there express your desire to join this church family. Or, you may speak to one of the ministers following the service.
